सूर्य को अनुकुल बनाने के उपाय- अपने पिता एवँ पिता तुल्य जनोँ का मान-सम्मान करे। अहोरात्र(24घण्टे) मे से अपना कुछ समय उनको जरुर दे। उन्के पास बैठे, उनकी बातो से अपनी समस्याओँ का समाधान निकाले। ताम्बे के पात्र से पानी पिये। अपने समुदाय के प्रति सजग बने। अगर हो सके तो रविवार को एक पाठ “आदित्यह्रदय स्तोत्र” का जरुर करे। 100% सूर्य का अच्छा प्रभाव मिलेगा।
चंद्र को अनुकुल बनाने के उपाय- अपनी माता एवँ माता तुल्य स्त्रियोँ को खुश रखे। उनका आदरभाव करे। कुछ समय उनके पास बैठे। जो समस्या उनको बताने लायक हो उसके बारे मे उन से चर्चा करेँ अन्यथा उनकी बातो से अपनी समस्या का समाधान खुद निकाले। सुबह चाय या काफी लेने से पहले आधा कप या एक चम्मच गाय कच्चा दुध जरुर पीये। हो सके तो चांदी धातु शरीर पर जरुर धारण करे। शुक्ल पक्ष की अष्टमी से लेके कृष्ण पक्ष कि सप्तमी तक रात्रि मे चंद्रमा को अर्घ जरुर दे। मानसिक शांति के लिए Meditation जरुर करे।
मंगल को अनुकुल बनाने के उपाय- अपने भाईयोँ से मिलकर रहेँ। दिन मे नही तो रात्रि मे अपने भाईयोँ के साथ भोजन करे। किसी संकट मे आये व्यक्ति कि मदद करेँ। शारीरिक क्षमता के अनुसार रक्त का दान करेँ। किसी समझदार व्यक्ति की राय से काम करे। अन्य व्यक्ति की प्रतिष्ठा ध्यान रखे। नित्य दुध जरुर पीयेँ। घर के अग्नि स्थान(रसोई) को साफ रखे। हनुमान जी उपासना करे।
बुध को अनुकुल बनाने के उपाय – अपने मित्र ओर पडोसी से अच्छे सम्बंध रखे। अपनी क्षमता के अनुसार उनकी मदद करेँ। असहाय ओर निर्धन, गरीब व्यक्तियो कि मदद करे। नपुँसक जनो को कैसे भी(मन,कर्म,वचन) ठैस ना पहुंचाये। 1 वर्ष मे एक पेड जरुर लगाये। पशुओ को हरित घास जरुर खिलायेँ। गणेश जी की उपसान करे। हो सके तो बुधवार को गणेश अथर्वशीष का पाठ जरुर करे।
गुरु को अनुकुल बनाने के उपाय – अपने गुरु तथा अपने से बडे जनो के प्रति आदर भाव रखे। आस्तिक बने। मंदिर जरुर जाये। अपने ओर अन्य धर्मो के प्रति सद्भाभावना रखे। अपने परिवार के साथ तीर्थ स्थलो मे जायेँ। गरीब बच्चो को पठन-पाठन के लिए मदद करेँ। नित्य अपने गुरु मंत्र का जाप जरुर करेँ।
शुक्र को अनुकुल बनाने के उपाय – अपने परिवार कि तथा अन्य समुदाय कि स्त्रियोँ कि मदद करेँ। कुँवारी कन्या कि मदद करे। स्त्रियोँ के प्रति अच्छे विचार रखे। अपनी धर्म पत्नी के अलावा अन्य स्त्रियोँ को माता, बहन एवँ बेटी का दर्जा दे। नित्य संगीत जरुर सुने। अंधे व्यक्ति कि मदद करेँ। दोपहर के भोजन दही जरुर ग्रहण करे। अपने कुल-देवी की उपासना करे।
शनि को अनुकुल बनाने कि उपाय – अपने से निम्न(छोटे) वर्ग के जनो कि मदद करेँ। नोकर या अपने आस-पास के निन्म वर्गो के जनो कि मदद करे। घर के बुजुर्ग जनो को खुश रखे। दिन का कुछ समय उनके साथ जरुर बितायेँ। दिव्यांग जनो की मदद करे। हो सके तो शनिवार को पीपल के निचे तेल का दिपक जरुर करे।
राहु एवँ केतु को अनुकुल बनाने के उपाय – अपने आस-पास साफ-सफाई रखे। गलत संगत से बचे। किसी भी प्रकार का नशा ना करेँ। सभी धर्मो के जनोँ कि मदद करेँ। नशा करने वाले व्यक्तियो को नशा ना करने की सलाह देँ। पशु-पक्षियोँ पर दया भाव रखे। रात को जल्दी सोने का प्रयत्न करे। शिव जी की उपासना करे। अपने कुलदेवी देवाताओ कि उपासना करे। अपने हर कार्य के लिए नियमित बनेँ। अपनी वस्तुओँ को उनकी जगह पर हि रखेँ।

   2. नपुंसक व्यक्ति अगर शुद्ध घी से भगवान शिव का अभिषेक
करे, ब्राह्मणों को भोजन कराए तथा सोमवार का व्रत करे तो
उसकी समस्या का निदान संभव है।
  3. तेज दिमाग के लिए शक्कर मिश्रित दूध भगवान शिव को
चढ़ाएं।
   4. सुगंधित तेल से भगवान शिव का अभिषेक करने पर समृद्धि में
वृद्धि होती है।
   5. शिवलिंग पर ईख (गन्ना) का रस चढ़ाया जाए तो सभी आनंदों
की प्राप्ति होती है।
   6. शिव को गंगाजल चढ़ाने से भोग व मोक्ष दोनों की प्राप्ति
होती है।
  '7. मधु (शहद) से भगवान शिव का अभिषेक करने से राजयक्ष्मा

5. बेला के फूल से पूजन करने पर सुंदर व सुशील पत्नी मिलती
है।
   6. जूही के फूल से शिव का पूजन करें तो घर में कभी अन्न की
कमी नहीं होती।
  '7. कनेर के फूलों से शिव पूजन करने से नए वस्त्र मिलते हैं।
   8. हरसिंगार के फूलों से पूजन करने पर सुख-सम्पत्ति में वृद्धि
होती है।
   9. धतूरे के फूल से पूजन करने पर भगवान शंकर सुयोग्य पुत्र
प्रदान करते हैं, जो कुल का नाम रोशनकरता है।
   10. लाल डंठलवाला धतूरा पूजन में शुभ माना गया है।

��Vibhuti is the sacred ash used in religious worship in Hinduism. The main ingredient of Vibuthi is a special kind of wood. It is burned in a sacred fire (Homa) to form white ash. 
��Vibhuti smeared across the forehead to the end of both eyebrows is called Tripundra.
��It serves as a reminder to the believer to cast away selfish and worldly desires that wrap the self in maya, meaning worldly illusion and distractions, and calls to mind the legend of how Shiva burned Kama (the god of desire) to ashes when Kama attempted to break Shiva's meditation. 
��Normally, worn along with red tilaka(red dot). Vibhuti relates to Shiva and Red tilaka to Shakti. It is a constant reminder that Shiva and Shakti form the universe and everything is into being through, the union of Shiva and Parvati.
��This form of Lord Shiva symbolizes the transcendental aspect of his nature and indicates that his presence is much higher than this physical phenomenon.
��The ashes on the Lord's body is cemetery ash, which points to the philosophy of the life and death and shows that death is the ultimate reality of the life.
��Most things in the universe reduce to ashes when burned and this aspect of nature is suggested by the ash-smeared appearance of Lord Shiva, who is held to be the God of destruction in Hindu mythology.

RUDRAKSH OR TEARS OF RUDRA (SHIVA)
If Someone desires seriously to come out of unwanted habits and live a life of purity, can wear Rudraksha and may find themselves free soon after wearing it . This has happened to many. It may happen to you also, if you will strongly.

Rudraksha power is more than any gems, yantra, tantra, mantra and Jantra.

In general the wearer and the worshipper of Rudraksha is blessed with prosperity, peace and health. Yet there are certain precautions to be taken to avoid the gain of sins. These precautions are such as:-

Rudraksha must be worn after Sidhhi (method of purification & charging with Mantra), performing the prayers and ritual rites for its sanctification and Hawan etc. It should be worn on auspicious day, after consulting an Astrologer.

Rudraksha Mantra and Rudraksha Origin Mantra is to be chanted daily 9 times while wearing in the morning and after removing before going to bed. Rudraksha must be removed before going to sleep and must be kept at the puja place.

Rudraksha can be worn in the morning after having Bath. It can be worn after reciting the mantra as above and incense/ ghee lamp etc must be used. It must not be touched before bathing. One should clean his hands properly after using toilet.

The wearer of the Rudraksha should not eat non vegeterian food and should not take alcohol. He should speak truth always and must go to Lord Shiva temple for his blessings.

Rudraksha must not be taken to the cremation grounds and funerals. Also it must not be taken to the place while visiting a new born baby.

NEVER wear the Rudraksha while having sex.

WOMEN must not wear the Rudraksha during their menstrual cycle.

ALWAYS keep your Rudraksha clean. Dust and dirt can settle in the pores of the bead. Clean these as frequently as possible with something with soft, fine bristles. If the thread becomes dirty or worn out, change it. After cleaning, wash your Rudraksha with some blessed holy water. This helps maintain its sanctity.

ALWAYS keep the Rudraksha oiled... After regular cleaning, oil the beads with ghee and treat it with incense. This is of UTMOST importance. especially when not using the bead for sometime, or storing it for a while.

Many get confused with the shape and size. One should not seriously worry about it. Just see that the Mukhi is well defined, corns and contours are natural, and there are no cracks near the central hole. Normally the buyer gets a feel when Rudraksha is kept in the palm. He/She feels that this is the one which was wanted.

Rudraksha is hot in nature. Some people just can't wear it. Their skin shows signs of allergy. They can never wear any gold, silver or thread chain. So better not to use. Keep the beads in Puja room and offer daily Namaskars

Celebrating the Peace Within is Shivaratri

Mahashivaratri is the day when the Shiva Tattva touches the earth. The consciousness, the aura or the ethereal world which is always ten inches above the material ground, touches the earth element on the day of Mahashivarathri. It is the wedding of the material with the spiritual.
Shiva is the soul (of everything) – there is no difference between the soul and Shiva.
Your true nature is Shiva, and Shiva is peace, infinity, beauty and the non-dual one.
Ratri means 'to take refuge'.
Shivaratri is taking refuge in Shiva (the soul). It is celebrating the Shiva Tatva within oneself.
According to the Shiva Purana
(ancient texts praising the divine through divine stories)
when Shiva was asked by Parvati, what pleases him the most, He is supposed to have replied, 'The 14th night of the new moon, of the month of Phalgun is my favorite day. It is known as Shivaratri'.
Ratri (which translates as night) is that which gives you rest, or peace.

Three types of peace are needed:
1. Material peace
2. Mental peace and
3. Peace in the soul
If there is disturbance around you, you cannot be peaceful. You need peace in your environment. You also need peace in the body and mind, and you need peace in the soul.

You may have peace in the atmosphere, you may enjoy good health, and you may have peace in the mind to a certain extent, but if the soul is restless, nothing can bring you comfort. So that peace is also essential.
Only in the presence of all the three types of peace can there be complete peace. Without one, the other is incomplete.

Shivaratri is taking refuge in the divine consciousness which brings peace and solace to all layers of consciousness. So resting in the Shiva Tattva is Shivaratri.
When the mind, intellect and ego rests in the divine that is the real rest, and the deepest rest (the complete peace). This is why it is very useful for people to meditate on this day.

A Day For Meditation

Shivaratri is like a new year for a saadhak (seeker). It is considered as an auspicious day for spiritual growth and material attainment.
The night on this day, when the constellations are in some particular position, is very auspicious for meditation. And so it is very useful for people to keep awake and meditate on Shivaratri.
In ancient times, people used to say, 'Okay, if you cannot do it every day, at least one day in a year, on Shivratri day, do meditation and keep awake'.
Wake the Divinity that is deep within you - this is the message. The Divinity is within you, let it wake up!

A Day For Fasting

Many devotees, in order to bring a balance between the three Gunas, i.e., Rajas, Tamas, and Sattva observe fast on the day of Shivaratri.
Not eating too much, eating light and doing more meditation on this day helps in fulfillment of desires - this is the ancient belief. Like a sponge in water (a rasagulla in syrup), when mind and body is resting in the Shiva Tattva, small wishes get fulfilled effortlessly.
That doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen on any other day. At any time when your heart is open and your mind is calm, prayers do get answered.
People usually eat very light, some fruits or something and fast. I don’t recommend you fast without anything. Take some fruits or some light easily digestible food and spend the day awake and meditate at night. You don’t need to do meditation all night, just for some time.

A Day For Chanting Sacred Hymns

Shivratri day is celebrated with Rudrabhishekam (singing of the ancient Vedic mantras which is accompanied with a ceremony of washing the Shiva Linga with milk, curd, honey, rose water, etc).
Do you know, when we chant the Vedic mantras, these mantras bring a big change in the environment. It brings purity in the environment, positivity is increased, bad karmas are destroyed and nature celebrates. That is why this Rudrabhishekam has been performed for thousands of years for the well-being of all.
'Let there be timely rain, let there be a good harvest. Let there be health, wealth, wisdom, and liberation', with these prayers it is performed.
To strengthen one’s connection to the Divine, Rudrabhishekam is performed.

शिवजी का रूप है निराला

भस्म का रहस्य

शिवजी का प्रमुख वस्त्र भस्म यानी राख है, क्योंकि उनका पूरा शरीर भस्म से ढंका रहता है। शिवपुराण के अनुसार भस्म सृष्टि का सार है, एक दिन संपूर्ण सृष्टि इसी राख के रूप में परिवर्तित हो जानी है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि चारों युग (त्रेता युग, सत युग, द्वापर युग और कलियुग) के बाद इस सृष्टि का विनाश हो जाता है और पुन: सृष्टि की रचना ब्रह्माजी द्वारा की जाती है। यह क्रिया अनवरत चलती रहती है। इस सृष्टि के सार भस्म यानी राख को शिवजी सदैव धारण किए रहते हैं। इसका यही अर्थ है कि एक दिन यह संपूर्ण सृष्टि शिवजी में विलीन हो जानी है।

Couple of days back I got a matchmaking case on urgent basis as fast decision had to be reached. The gun milan was 24/36, both non manglik and most importantly families knew each other and were keen to close the arranged match. Shivling made using Karpura – Karpur (Camphor) is worshipped widely in many homes and in sacred places. Worship of this Shivling is primarily done for attaining spiritual purpose. A single camphor piece is given the Shivling shape or powdered camphor is used to make the Shivling.

Benefits of worshipping Karpur Shivling include peace, happiness, spiritual inclination and success in efforts to attain liberation.
